Internal Partnering Scenario
THE SITUATION
You're the leader of a new board of directors at a company with multiple stakeholders and priorities. Your group is facing an uncharted path with differing opinions and strong personalities. You can see potential conflict arising, and recognize that your group needs a clear path forward.
THE FREE CONSULTATION
You meet with the facilitator at Clay Partnering for a free consultation. We work closely with you to identify stakeholders and understand the group’s intended general goals.
THE PARTNERING PROCESS
Survey
Before the Retreat, we design a survey for all stakeholders, exploring individual thoughts and plans to accomplish their view of the team’s goals. We design a Retreat agenda taking into account survey responses.
Retreat
We meet with your group and facilitate a one- to two-day workshop. In this workshop, we’ll work with your group to identify key goals and specific action plans. With our help, your group will:
Have stakeholders get to know one another on a personal basis
Agree by consensus upon important goals
Identify obvious future problems and possible solutions to those problems
Develop a process to resolve any problems that do occur when they occur
Produce a “Charter/Compact,” a moral, non-legal agreement all team members commit to
Follow-up
The Partnering process is not a singular event. Team alignment, progress, and new problems must be tracked and addressed. We can do this using evaluation forms and further meetings.
THE OUTCOMES
Your group builds stronger bonds, shared goals, and knowledge of how to get there. You move forward with a structured roadmap to stay on track and continue progressing toward your team’s goals.
